As a weekly mowing customer, if you refer your friends, neighbors, and others in East Des Moines, Pleasant Hill, Altoona, or Grimes, IA to us, you’ll receive a receive a $25 credit on your account for every referral that mentions your name and becomes a weekly mowing customer.

Overgrowth: For new customers, if your grass is taller than 8 inches, we will charge an additional fee. This is because taller grass will need multiple passes and takes longer to string trim, especially to get the lawn to our standards.
Excess pet waste: We get it if you miss a pile here or there but if we feel there is a large amount of pet waste left on the lawn, we will charge an additional fee. The reason for this is that the waste can contaminate our equipment. We’ll have to take the time to clean our equipment after visiting your property so we don’t take the pet waste to another customer’s property.
Children’s toys: Toys don’t always make it back to the bin and a toy here or there is one thing. If there are toys scattered all over your lawn making it difficult for us to mow and trim, we’ll charge an additional fee to clean it up before we begin. This is for the safety of your children’s toys (i.e. pieces of toys being thrown from our mower) as well as keeping our equipment in top shape. We will not move trampolines or swing sets, only small toys that are easily moved. We can string trim under swing sets for an additional fee.
Trash and excess yard debris: The occasional can or wrapper is bound to happen. When it looks like a trash can tipped over or a tree dropped all its branches, we’ll charge an additional fee to clean it out of the way. A few twigs and a candy wrapper or two may not hurt our equipment but many of them will. The same as with toys, we don’t want trash or yard debris being flung from our mowers causing a safety concern.
First offense will be a $5 charge. Repeat offenses will be a charge of $10 per visit.
If we show up and the lawn has already been mowed, we will charge 50% of the regular service fee.
